Jason Romanenko was dubbed Chasson Rouel in 1992.  Even so, at that point he had played the guitar for eleven years.  He first picked up the electric guitar in 1984.  Of course he has played for over thirty years now.  Although his first influences included electro, he was able to grow with the genre in a way that only good musicians can until finally he realised that Jazz was his ultimate direction and being one or two pegs away from Jazz most days he produces Ambient and predominantly Indie which has a musician’s (lead guitarist’s) point of view and flavour (flava).  Put another way, brand new musical expressions are what he is best at producing, and if it is or is not Jazz doesn’t worry him, although on the reverse side of the coin is Hard Rock with rich, mainstream distortion that clings to Jason like his guitars.  Jason uses these, and several other attributes where each varies according to the general feeling that day and at the end of the day he (he includes us) is left with a production worthy of even the most discerning ears.  He has discovered many of the tricks of electro with production tools that feature a near perfect recording mix.  Although he prefers to write instrumentals (sound tracking), the material is ideal to suit a film, or use in supporting rappers or even write your own song and sing along to your favourite Chasson Rouel melody.  If you would like to buy a Chasson Rouel CD, please choose from the following list.  Once you have selected the CD you desire, use the yodhar.com button where you can submit your order.
